job to protect Fix a Leak Week: March 15-21, 2010 The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that 1 trillion gallons of water are wasted from residential leaks in the United States every year, equivalent to the annual water usage of Los Angeles, Chicago, and Miami combined. That's why the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) is promoting “Fix a Leak Week,” March 15-21, 2010. Fix a Leak Week serves as an annual reminder for consumers to conserve water by fixing leaky plumbing fixtures and irrigation systems.
